“When you’re happy like a fool, let it take you over…”

Happy weekend, friends. It’s been quite a week, and next week, I face my next challenge. Vegas. Alone. Two Tradeshows. Hello out-of-comfort-zone-ness!

So, rather than dwell on that now, I’m going to free my mind, and enjoy the chock-full weekend I have ahead, filled with a comedy show, a birthday bash, Mother’s Day with M’s family (and a ‘virtual’ salute to my sister’s very first Mother’s Day…makes me so happy) and hopefully, lots of laughs, love, and wine. 😉

I leave you with my new favorite song by OneRepublic “Good Life”. Enjoy.

  1. cheers to you! 🙂

and by the way, if you want a vegas-style buffet without feeling like you ate the gross domestic product of a small latin american country, the one at caesar’s has really amazing food that’s not all fried/oily/unhealthy. the best salad bar i’ve ever seen in my life. AMAZING.

    1. Thanks for the tip!! I will be at Mandalay Bay and Venetian mostly, and once at Luxor, unfortunately no Caesar’s this time! My next trip for sure 😉

  2. What a funny coincidence! I will be at a tradeshow as well, at Foxwoods Casino next week. When slot machines and work combine, lol.

    Good luck, you’ll be great.

  3. One of the *really bad* things that started happening to me last month, that really made me sit up and say “woah. I’m not doing very well” was I started to become resentful of my friend’s leading happy lives. It started to make me sad and jealous. SO not a good sign, and SO not feelings I was used to.

Since then, my friends here have really made it known how much they love me, and that helps. And I am no longer resentful.

No matter what else, I am happy to see happiness again. That has to count for something. Right? 🙂 Keep up the happy. Love.

    1. That counts for SO MUCH Nikki. I am glad that the happiness gives you some happiness. One day at a time, girl, you got this. XO.

  4. I LOVE the title of this post. Because that is exactly how I’m feeling these days. It’s a little scary – but I’m letting it take over! Ok. Still waaaay behind but determined to catch up!
